Waiting for the Morning

This poem is a reflection of the last 1317 days with which I have been associated. This is my first attempt at poetry.

derived from dreams
driven by heart
for the morning tomorrow
We sweated it so hard

when morning came
and time for bread
came the call
it was time for bed
and back to dreams!

little did We see the morning
little did We see the tomorrow in today
We did see our dreams
We did see our heart

down the lanes of memory
not so far from today
there was a dream, realized
morning had not come but
We did convert dreams to reality

now We dare to dream again
in the hope that morning will be none too far !
not just bread but with milk
We need to prepare for a journey too far !

Good One. i dont say it is great, but i can definitely say that it very much reflects one's feelings who is driving his/her life just mechanically. And am very much sure that its the case with almost everyone(exceptions always there) today.

Badly need a break out of this routine.
